Dante YVON : Professional Fishing Instructor-Guide
Passionate about fishing since I was 5 years old, I have never stopped travelling around Brittany, France and the world in search of the most beautiful fish.
Fascinated by the sea, it is naturally that at the age of 18, I decided to train as a Captain of the 1st Class of Maritime Navigation at the National Maritime School of Nantes. Since then, I have been lucky enough to sail for many years in the paradisiacal waters of the South Pacific. These trips gave me a great experience in the world of exotic fishing where I was lucky enough to be able to face on an almost daily basis tunas, marlins, bonitos, wahoo, mahi-mahis and other lords of these waters.
Today, with a BPJEPS diploma in leisure fishing, I would like to share my fishing experience with you. Join me at the Port de la Gravette, for fishing sessions in a warm and friendly atmosphere with the specific equipment adapted to each fishing technique.

The Boat
The boat is a semi-rigid Centaure 590XL Hypalon with 130l livewell integrated in the deck. Equipped with a high console, 2 jockey seats and a rear bench seat. The boat is powered by a Yamaha F115 engine.
The on-board electronics include a HELIX 10G3N MEGA Si + CHIRP – Mega Side imaging+ version, a VHF NAVICOM RT 1050 and a FUSION RA70 radio.
The safety equipment complies with the 240 division for mid-shore navigation.

The Fishing Area
From the Port de la Gravette & Pornic, in the Loire-Atlantique, I guide in the whole area of the large Loire harbour.
Fishing Techniques
Although my favourite technique is trolling, this does not prevent me from assiduously practising other techniques such as tuna fishing with livebaits, tuna fishing with lures on the hunt and sea bass fishing with lures both from the boat and from the shore. The latter also gives me a lot of pleasure, especially when fishing with surface lures.
